I've been using Bascom for years, and on recent projects I'm using Git for tracking changes. My repository includes the PRJ file, even though most of the changes in this are not worth tracking (IDE state etc).

However, I'm now using 2 different PCs alternately for development and pushing/pulling the repository. That works well, except for the absolute file names in the PRJ file, specifically the "active" and "main" file names.

Would it be possible to have relative file names for these, at least if they are in the same folder as the project file? That would make life easier for anyone who moves/copies/clones projects to a different PC or even different folder on the same PC.

I found a reference to this problem from years back at https://www.mcselec.com/index2.php?option=com_forum&Itemid=59&page=viewtopic&t=12309 (and the mentioned report problem still exists as well).

(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.8.2 )

Nice! Thanks.

(and yes, I'll send requests like this to MCS support in future).
