Hi,

Me again, the adventure continue :

I have another PC, a laptop and I plan to use in my second home for the next six months.

It run Window 10, was purchased last year.

I install Arduino software and it works. With it, I can program my Uno without problem.

I install Bascom Avr demo without problem.

When I launch it, I sauw during about one second, a kind of dos windows where I saw on a dark backgroud a scrolling list of may be filename.

Then the windows close, and nothing more !

If I try again same résult !

I neither saw that !

I have unistalled, reinstall, made power of, then on, no change !

Any idea ?

Best regards in advance.

Marc

Edit:

I have found the "problem" :
On the Windows 10 menu (accessible with left clik on the flag of the left corner of the screen), the last installed program is displayed.
On my PC it was displayed Bascomp, and I don't care for the exact name, I use it to launch the compiler !
And I made all my tests trying launching it from this way !
I don't Know exactly from where it came, certainly a false try...
In the full list of installed programs, I found both program names, Bascomp and Bascom-AVR.
Launching Bascom-AVR it works !

Many thanks for the designers of Windows 10, no gain but a lot of pain !!!

thanks for posting the solution. I love windows 7, but i must say that windows 10 is not so bad. ok, they change some things, some changes but it appears to be a good version.
i tested bascom on it, and i like it. the nice thing is that it works the same on windows 10 phone.

ps : bascomp is the command line compiler you can call
