I came accross a new board from futurlec.com they have a new XMEGA128 board with many features with a built in boot loader via serial port I thought others would be interested.

I saw that also but I from wasn't sure if it could be programed directly from Bascom? I was also wondering if it was set up for Even Parity. I know that the Arduino boards use no Parity.

Hello,

the specs of the board say that you can program it with Bascom-AVR without using the Bootloader:

In-Circuit Programming: Yes - Separate Programmer Required (ET-AVR ISP MKII) or through Bootloader
