Hi,

Does anyone know how to measure electrostatic voltage? even if it is in a poor man way? I'm just interested in measuring the different levels of electrostatic voltage in different areas and I was wondering if it was an easy way of doing this.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Right, tbis is as far as I got: I need to measure humidity and temperature and with this I can only hope for more or less ESD in the ambient.

Not what I was loking for but a starting point Smile

Do you need to measure temperature and humidity, or simply measure electostatic voltage?

There are plenty of digital and analogue temp/hygro sensors that can easily be interfaced with microcontrollers.

Measuring electrostatic potential isn't so easy unless you just want a rough idea of relative potential. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrometer for some ideas.
