Attached is a DLL which can be used to visualize 3D rotations using Kixrazor 1.2. You can also use it for Hardware in the Loop Simulation to test the AR7212X:
(3) Get Admin rights to extract the kixplugin ZIP folder into
C:/Win../Programs(x86)/AeroSIM-RC-v3.5/Plugin/PluginDemo
This will overwrite plugin_AeroSIMRC.DLL. The original DLL
will be saved as plugin_AeroSIMRC35.DLL
(4) Find the virtual COM port for the FTDI adapter attached to the
Sparkfun 9DOF Razor. Use the device manager for this.
(5) Edit the File KixHILS.ini and change the COM port accordingly.
(6) Flash the Sparkfun Razor 9DOF with the Kixrazor SW. There are
many ways to do it. I've been used to the AVRISP MKII which is
also suitable for Xmegas. Within AVR Studio you can do it via
Tools ... Program chip... The latest Bascom versions >2.0 will
also allow to do it directly.
(7) Connect the Kixrazor. Start AerosimRC and use the menu ..plugin
..plugindemo to activate the Plugin. A new Menu item will show
AR7212X
( Select KixStation (Hardware during flight). AeorosimRC will now
show the moves of your KixRazor by the plane you have selected.
you bring this 'hobby' to a whole new level. A very professional level.
It is great that the whole loop is closed now. I had no idea that all of this was even possible. Thanks for sharing and making it possible! _________________ Mark
