I am reluctant to do this but feel strongly enough that I do not want anyone else to suffer the same treatment.
Earlier this year, I ordered 3 quantities of pcbs from Kenneth Ding of Flypcb.com ... a Chinese pcb maker. Gerber files were provided. Thirty percent of one design were delivered with processing faults similar to those shown in the attached. Short circuits between valid tracks.
Ding requested photographs of all faulty pcbs which were provided at some not-insignificant inconvenience and workload. After initially stating that Flypcb would honour their responsibility to replace defects caused by them, they have, by cutting off all communication in the last 3 weeks, reneged. Paypal have declined to be involved because their 45 day dispute period has lapsed. (Be aware that the 45 days starts from payment ... not from delivery of the goods.) Prepayment was a requirement by Flypcb.
I very strongly recommend that you not send any work to Flypcb lest you find yourself with 30% defective products.
My previous Chinese pcb makers have been excellent by comparison and I will be returning to them despite their ever so slightly dearer prices.
