Hi all
I’m looking for idea how to recover lost bas files from damaged/deleted partition on hard drive.
By mistake I deleted partition with 120GB data and all my bascom files.
I using Easyrecovery software and RAW scanning option.
Unfortunately EasyRecovery do not have information about signature of bas files.
Maybe some of you are similar with data recovery and can help me.
Regards

I did that around ten years ago... so it is possible.
That's all I can say at this moment.
I remember I did search the web for some software, connected the bad disc to my other PC and get out everythin I needed. But it was a hell of a work to get all peaces in every file together. Bascom code is not that big so it would not be so many peaces to put together.
Good luck! |

Hello
I use OntrackEasyRecovery profesional version and Acitve@file Recovery profesional 7.5
I found all my photos and RAR files but im stiil mising my bascom files.
I used RAW recowery so files wer recognized by signature.
But both of software can not recognize BAS files.
That's why i ask what software it was.
probably i have to give up.
Thank You for help. |

I know this wont help you now, but maybe its a good time to get a disc backup program, and start using it.
Paragon works well for partition backup.
SyncBackSE for file backup. _________________ Adrian Jansen

Hi,
Adding a thought to Adrian's comments...
I would suggest having an off site place to store your backup. Years ago, we had a break in at work and the thieves smashed our computers as well as the backup disks sitting right next to the computers!
Yes...that was a bad day!
