Hello
Just curious as to if people on here have had a play with balancing robots etc.
I have been reading on the net for a week or so now, and there are quite a few different videos of balancing robots etc. Some are much better than others.
I am only just starting to look at the PID side of things, and the various filtering people have used, to clean up the signals out of the Gyro's/Accelerometers (I think)... I need to do alot more reading yet.
Just interested to see if anyone has attempted one before.
This is the best one I have found so far, very stable, no hunting for balance like alot of them do, and its remote controlled. Very snazzy.

Elektor has a kit for a simplified copy of a Segway using AVR and Bascom. The balancing in that uses some neat algorithms. _________________ Adrian Jansen
