You are wrong as Evert pointed out in his last post on that subject. Bascom cannot and does not check for all possible impropieties of the coder. When you dunno' what you doin'... it is possible to make mistakes. Don't assess a lack of knowledge on your part as a fault somewhere else. It is the responsibility of the coder to be mindful of values a variable "might" or "could" possess during run-time.
