Hello All,
I need info on the hardware and software for sending a program to a Tiny44. The extent of my ability is only with a Mega8535 using PonyProg2000. The hardware and software I have doesn't support the Tiny44. I am looking for an inexpensive way to program the Tiny. It doesn't have to be ISP. I would be happy putting it on a breadboard. I can use serial or parallel. A schematic would be great with a list of the support software.
Hi Dennis.
Do you still use the programmer from Futurelec ??
if so you can use it with the circuit attached (you will need to log in to view)
Warning this is only theory....
But I see no reason for it not to work.
The circuit is from the Atmega 8535 drawings.
You need to insure that the Tiny44 Miso,Sck,Rst, and the Mosi pins are correct.
I am not sure if the Tiny44 needs the crystal to be programmed or not??.
If I am wrong then someone jump in here and tell us .
Hi Antony,
Sorry for the long delay in sending a reply. I have been sick with a stomach virus. I haven't been at the computer much lately. Thanks for the info. I am getting my parts in today so in the next few days I will try it out. I hope all is well with you.
