I must PullUp Sda Scl line??

Dear friends

I'm having problem with I2C program and just now have read that SDA and SCL line want PullUp resistor otherwise no working.

Is correct?
This is true also if I use only one I2C chip?

Bonjour,

Oh yes, you have to put pull up resistors even you have only one componants.

4.7K or 10 K
remenber too :
I2C= 1 or 2 meters bus no more !
