Hi folks,
Recently I bought some color LCD screens as used in Nokia3510i cell-phones. These screens were supposed to have an Epson controller, but it is a (now obsolete) Philips PCF8833. Good thing is that BascomAVR has a library for these displays. Putting that to work, I found some unexpected behaviour.
1. Cls doesn't work
2. Display colors are inverse
3. Upper row and left column cannot be reached with Pset.
4. A created 6*8 font just gives unreadable characters on the display.
To save those of you who plan to use simular displays a lot of debuggingtime, I attach here my findings and possible workarounds in a package.
thank you very much for suggestions helped me very much because there 3 diffrent models of that display and i have bought one of them with inverted collors and cls routine is now very simple ;)
