Hi there.
I 've just assembled the edb kit (atmega88), and applied power. The green led is flashing and the LCD display goes blue and blank (?). Everything seems ok up to this point. Then i run the Bascom-Avr 1.11.8.7 demo version, make the necessary settings, open the file EDBtest.bas, compile & sent it to the chip. Here comes the bad news. I get the following messages:
UPLOADING....
Log Window
Open COM
Sending Init byte
Loader returned : 123
Error : -6006
Finish code : -6006
...and nothing happens. The green led is still flashing. What does this error means? I get the same message after every programm i try to upload to the mcontroller. I used another RS232 cable, but the problem remains. Can anyone help?
