After reading Nightmaretony's response where he mentioned designing automated test fixtures I was moved to make this post. I too design automated test fixtures for a living. But I and my employer have come to a parting of the ways due to the fact that after 15 years of this I am still paid the same as a calibration tech.
So I am asking this group what are some good sources for finding jobs in the area of embedded applications or testing?

Yes I am aware of the variety of products that use embedded processors. What I am a little vague on is how to find openings. It has been decades since I last looked for a job. I am using my college job placement office. But most of their listings are regional. And Nebraska is not exactly the high tech capital of the world.
