Hello,
1) I have setup the EasyTCP/IP board and it works fine as a webserver. Now I would like to attach a SD card with the AVR DOS. I would like to put the HTML webpages on the SD card. But not only the HTML files but also ZIP files. And I would like to be able to upload and download files to and from the SD card. This is for use as a fileserver and the HTML pages could be updated via network, without having to programm the AVR new.
Could BASCOM support something like TCPWRITE(i, [FILENAME]) or TCPREAD(i, [FILENAME])? This would make it irrelevant, if the file transfered was a HTML or a different file.
Or what other Possibilites would I have to do that?
And how could I access a file that is located on a other webpage? I would like to download the data from RSS Newsfeeds (xml files) or pick out some text from HTML files form other sites.
2) I would like to receive some text that has been entered in an text input box of a website. The website should either be located on the SD card or on an independent external webpage (the IP adress of the easy tcp(ip would be provided).
I figured out, the the POST command does that.
Could I also use the POST to transfer files?
I am thankfull for any help.
Thank you
Regards
Pat
