Hello
The IDE of Bascom 2.0.8.5 has a great new feature to modify the system font.
But when I go to settings and modify the settingt to
- Option "Overwrite Widows Font" checked
- Click on "IDE System Font" an set the Font to Arial, Standard and size = 11 px
and start the ide new, the LCD-Designer Toolbox will shown wrong.
And this is the only one who is shown wrong.
For better explain I have atached 2 screen shots with the setting and the windows of LCD-Designer.
My Question.
How can I solve this problem?
Is it maybe a Bug?
(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.8.5 ) |

i do not know if you re-used an old xml settings file, or let the software create a new one?
to solve this :
- edit the xml file with notepad or a real xml editor
- find this : <frmLCD>
- you will see some info :
<FormVersion>0</FormVersion>
<ShowCmd>1</ShowCmd>
<Flags>0</Flags>
<PixelsPerInch>96</PixelsPerInch>
<MinMaxPos_3600x1080_>-1,-1,-3,-3</MinMaxPos_3600x1080_>
<MinMaxPos>-1,-1,-1,-1</MinMaxPos>
<NormPos_3600x1080_>857,418,1121,719</NormPos_3600x1080_>
<NormPos>-2105,951,-1669,1424</NormPos>
<MinMaxPos_7680x2160_>-1,-1,-1,-1</MinMaxPos_7680x2160_>
<NormPos_7680x2160_>-2105,951,-1669,1424</NormPos_7680x2160_>
- and this is the end tag
</frmLCD>
the info depends on your monitor(s).
- just remove the entire frmLCD node. thus :
<frmLCD>
<FormVersion>0</FormVersion>
<ShowCmd>1</ShowCmd>
<Flags>0</Flags>
<PixelsPerInch>96</PixelsPerInch>
<MinMaxPos_3600x1080_>-1,-1,-3,-3</MinMaxPos_3600x1080_>
<MinMaxPos>-1,-1,-1,-1</MinMaxPos>
<NormPos_3600x1080_>857,418,1121,719</NormPos_3600x1080_>
<NormPos>-2105,951,-1669,1424</NormPos>
<MinMaxPos_7680x2160_>-1,-1,-1,-1</MinMaxPos_7680x2160_>
<NormPos_7680x2160_>-2105,951,-1669,1424</NormPos_7680x2160_>
</frmLCD>
- then save the xml file.
this editing must be done when bascom is not running.
when you restart the proper size should be shown. or not, in that case it is a bug. _________________ Mark |
