Hey. Software uart behaves strangely in my opinion when using the "Swap" command. Can anyone test?

The circuit I am using is ATtiny85




Dim W As Byte , R As Byte
Open "comb.0:2400,8,n,1,inverted " For Output As #1
W = 0 : R = 1

Do
'Print , W ; R
Swap W , R
Print#1 , W ; " " ; R
Loop

' Answer is 1 0
' Answer is 48 46
' Answer is 46 48
' Answer is 48 46 ...?

(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.8.4 )

Can you show us your hw and sw stack?
I think the sw stack is set to low.
