Hello, everyone.
Has anyone tried this improved 328 "replacement"?
I am mainly interested in A/D and D/A stability and behaviour at maximum frequency. I have ordered them, but somehow it's been hanging around in Belgium for a month and the deadline is getting dangerously close.
Thanks
RS
If I was you, don't wait for them and use a real avr , certainly if you are using them in a commercial product.
Reading this topic on eevblog they are not full compatible with avr and the avr instruction set. And that makes them useless with Bascom. _________________ www.evertdekker.comBascom code vault
Thank you for your reply
I know about compatibility. I need a bit more power than the standard avr offers. The customer needs to increase the computing power on the existing device. So I have two options. Either try this or make another processor board.
The differences are not that big with peripherals. They have a 12b AD converter and a standard DA converter, but mainly they operate at 32MHz. Bascom can be used when thinking more about functions or what we want to do. The adjustments and limitations are not that big.
I was more asking for experience.
Thank you for your opinion though.
