All right, I didn't mean it as a reproach. There was a smiley.
This field of electronics has never caught me, so it goes beyond me

Very interesting topic.
I see we have good few licensed amateur radio operators on the forum, good to hear that Smile

There is loads of interest in the tuners recently Smile
I think better approach will be by using roller inductor and vacum capacitor instead of 24 relays.
Specially when you thinking about 4KW.

I need one but just for 1KW and I'm planning to use roller inductor.

Hi Pikczu,
Yes i agree. a roller inductor and vacuum c's are better.
But i like to get experience with the project and i do not want to pay much money at this moment.
At this moment i like to use the parts a do all ready have in the junk box

The definitive version will definitly have vauum c's.

I all ready made the bascom software to steer the stepping motor.
And it works. Only it takes some time to let the motor rotate.

I also have a roller inductor with a servo motor. But not yet any bascom software to steer
this servo motor.

Next step will be making A tuner with a stepping motor and a normal variable condensor.
