I noticed that one too!
But why is there a switch for the 12V?
I mean: you allways want that the UPDI device is programmable.
If 12V needs to be switched off, then I like that possibility also to be setable in software, while the switch may stay (or use a jumper). |

This is because you will not want this option and an undefined state may occur when connecting or disconnecting the programmer. The same goes for disconnecting from USB or restarting the PC. Imagine the case that you have something connected to the PDO, you control the device and you forget about it. At 12V, the bound items will naturally be damaged. The use of HV programming should be considered and remember for any damage.
This cannot be handled by HW or SW on the part of the programmer.
If I find my original solution, I'll put it here with the program in Lazarus. My HDD left me and I lost a few unimportant things. This didn't matter because I unlocked the blocked processors and then, after editing, I paid attention to the macro overwrite. In production, it's one PD0, I use it as a RESET in finished things.

The "he" from Aberystwyth that I mean sold AVR programmers from the beginning of AVR. I have their USB-ISP, find it very comfortable.
"He" harmed Mark financially, that is why his company name is banned here. But their product is really good, before AVR-ISP MkII it was the standard AVR programmer and after that it got USB and regular updates for new AVR's with ISP.

I see. I don't know behind the scenes. Where the money goes are always problems. Unfortunately, this is the time and it is always best to make money on someone else's idea. It's less worried, but I guess this one is a little off.
