I am using an easy-TCPIP and I found the following bug.
I connect the easy-TCPIP to a LAN and in my program
I use first Getsocket() and then SocketStat()
The result of SocketStat() is 14(Socket initializing)
so far so good!
Then I remove the UTP cable and test my program again
I get the same result!!! (Socket initializing)
It seems that there is no way of knowing wether the cable is pluged in or not.
Can anyone help?

Hi, I have the same / naerly Problem like You. If the Status 14 then we have no way to recive Data from the Socket. This is then when Disconnet and Connect the Network Cable. The Stat of the Socket ist OK. But the Stat of the Socket must go to 15 and the Data must recive. The Problem is not a Bug in SocketStat, The Socketstat must go to 15. If i try to Colse the Socket and make an New Socket , its the same allways ist the Sockestat 14 ( Socket Init) . A Hard-Reset in this Case Helps me, but that is not the Way.
