Hey friends,

I want to build a frequency-meter. I have a triggerwheel with 20 teeth on it and this can have a rotating speed of 4000RPM.

I see now I can put 2 timers at xmega together to one 32bit timer.

I want to use frequency capture on this timer. Do I understand it right, that the value in the register is the time between two rising edges? So the register
will be refreshed every next tooth on trigger-wheel?

Did anybody have a code to make it working? I did not make much with xmega yet, but I remember, that timer-config is not a basic thing, maybe
anybody can help with it Smile

Than I can give out frequency every 10ms over uart Smile

Cheers

Boese
