Im from Poland. I dont have ANY clue what the Embud company was(it was from Poland) because Im join into the AVR club later
But I know who sell AVRPROG MKII in Polland.
This is not any intentional commercial because I dont have programmer from this company, My programmer(MKII) I made myself by some Internet instructions.
But if you want to buy new one from Poland HERE IS THE LINKl
Im patriot only and want to support our makers ahahaha |

EMBUD stopped making these programmers. So we can not sell them.
I leave the product page so customers can download the drivers.
The replacement i selected was the Kamprog from kamami (also from Poland)
But last time i wanted to buy they were no on stock.
I also looked into alternatives and the mySmartUSB light STK500 mode programmer is a great alternative. It is also supported by bascom.
If you want a clone of the original avrisp mkII from atmel, you can find various. I used one from olimex and it worked after altering the firmware.
There are many clone programmers. _________________ Mark |

Thanks Mark.
I have a KamPROG but it doesn't work correctly with the Atmega 1284P ( which I use exclusively) , and the mfr has not yet fixed the files.
I see that i can get an olimex locally so will try that. My embud is still working fine, but if I lose it/break it /etc then I'm dead in the water as they say, so i need a spare.
Thanks for your help Mark _________________ Neil |

Hi again Mark,
after i hit the send button, I remembered your comment Quote: | I used one from olimex and it worked after altering the firmware. |
Is your updated firmware file available, and is there any hassle in gettiing the olimex prog running with Bascom, as I see there are a plethora of posts about this?

you need to update the flash with a firmware that is compatible with libsub. By default they ship with firmware that is compatible with avr studio.
They have a document that describes it, and you can download the firmware from their web.
you should contact them for help since they sell it. _________________ Mark |
