Hi to all,
I have purchased some attiny13 for a project (I have never used this integrated).
When I try to program them I get back an error, difference at ......
Looking the fuse-bits I find "Further Programming and verify of the flash and eeprom is disabled".
I tried to reset the fuse-bit with "HIGH voltage programer FOR fuse reseting for attiny 13 TO 8 " picked up in this forum, but does not change anything.

some idea ?

Yours sincerely
Stefano

HELLO

if you uze the lcd version you will be abble to see the reseted fuzes

when you erase the attiny13 with high fuse programmer with attiny45

does the led blink a 1s or stay on

if stay on it means that it is failed so repeat several time the reset until led blink

you can also slow down the speed of the programmer isp

Hello benoit
thanks for the kind reply, I use the version with atmega8 and lcd, it seems that the reset works, but in the end I read the fusebit with the same values as before.
Can you tell me how to change Lockbit21?

best regards
stefano

Hello Stefano

try the version "last 1 " because the lcd tell ***** FINISH YOU CAN POWER OFF *********

if it don 't tell it mean that reset was not succesfull

if the fuse are displayed all is ok

verify the wiring
and eventually try another isp programmer if you have i have already meet problem with isp programmer that don t program correctly

Thanks for your kind response.
I tried with the version "last1", I get the word "***** FINISH ....." but the lockbit21 is always blocked.
Probably the integrated I bought are faulty.
I will change the integrated ones.
Many thanks

LockBits are reseted automatically when you program chip with new firmware.
Better try slowdown programmer speed cause new Tiny13 comes with 1.2MHz and programming CLK should be less than 1/4 of that 1.2MHz means 300kHz max.
Try disable "AutoVerify" when programming.

The tensions and connections seem be correct.

EDC
in the "USB-ISP" programmer the USB-Speed is set to 0, I think it is as low as possible.
I will try to disable "AutoVerify"

thanks for now

Solved Smile

Programming the micro on a breadboard the fusebits are read correctly and the programming is ok.

(The sck-miso-mosi pins are used in the circuit as input with high input resistors, the reset pin is used as a reset with pull-up resistance.)

thank all for helping.
