I want to check the status of ports and pins when checking program debugging and circuit operation.
However, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers are expensive and time consuming to prepare.
Logic checkers are useful for simple investigations.
A single pulse can be seen with a normal trigger of an oscilloscope, but a logic checker can confirm a single pulse with sound.
- The measured voltage of the probe is gradually displayed with 5 LEDs.
- Inform the judgment of [L] and [H] with a buzzer sound according to the specified level of TTL and CMOS.
- Also convert high frequencies that can not be confirmed with LEDs or buzzer sounds to blinking at 10Hz and notify them.
- A single pulse with short pulse width can also be detected by a latch circuit.
- (In the test, we have confirmed detection of square wave 30MHz, single pulse 30nS at 5V power supply)
- 3V to 5V power supply specification according to one chip microcomputer circuit.
Movie of action.

Hello O-Family
This is the best logic tester i have seen. It can detect high frequency pulses and display them normally. It is very versatile.
Do you have a gerber file of the pcb? I like to make one. The probe i will put in a pencil with a wire. this makes it easer to handle for me.
Thanks for the video, i enjoyed it. _________________ Mark |

Hi, Mark
Thank you for a good impression!
I hope that this tester will be useful for the production of many people.
I am writing a circuit diagram and PCB artwork using general-purpose drawing software.
Therefore, there is no Gerber data for PCB CAD.
Since it is a simple circuit, please enter drawings in PCB CAD.
The pen type case is wonderful.
I am not good at SMT parts, so it was difficult to realize that.
I look forward to the results.
Best regards |

We will draw in Eagle.
We could not find a suitable pencil shape case. And i do not have a 3D printer so for now we will make it similar except for the DIP switch.
The probe itself we connect with a wire. It is easier to handle that way.
We will send it to you and upload it here or AN section when ready. _________________ Mark |

The circuit diagram of Eagle will be available to many people.
I also looked for a pen-type case, but I did not like it.
In the first production, we used only the case of a commercially available logic probe.
I used only the case because it was poorly functioning and was not useful.
Be careful as it may be subject to noise when connecting probes with wires.
It is also a good point of this device that the light of the LED can be seen simultaneously with the pin near the pin to be tested.
Because you have to move your eyes to the probe tip and the device LED!

Thanks for your comment.
Yes, you have some good points. I am aware of that.
But the leds i use will be hard to miss. And i usually have my test equipment behind the object i test.
With the circuit and pcb users can redesign as they want.
Most parts we will use SMD. _________________ Mark |
