Austria seems a good choice. Our country is very flat. We need to drive to Belgium or Germany to see some mountains.
I see it is near Passau (Germany). Have been there years ago on holiday. Great area. Wish you all the best at your new home.

While i am not religious, I have been visiting some Christmas markets in Germany with my wife. It always nice to visit our neighbors. Wish i had more time.
I wish everybody a Merry Christmas/holiday

If you had snow this time of year, we would move back to southern Arizona.
We have snow, rain, snow, rain.......sunshine 1:7.... we love it.

We have very good friends from France and they really like the onion soup we make a lot.
French wine and cheese among other things, is also very much liked here.
