In the Bascom folder i found "BSC-AVRL.Dll".

you can not rename the system dll into the license dll.
it appears you did not received the license dll. you best contact the vendor and ask them about it.
changes are that this file is in your spam/junk folder. or that you need to unzip the file.
when you got it on CD, the setup will copy the file automatically.

that is not normal. you can use files from a network as long you have access to those files.
did you make a drive map ?
I just test it and it works as expected.

ps. 2078 is outdated. you can best register (read the instructions that should have came with the license) and grab a new 2080 setup.

In our company we have several network drives.
When I use Bascom, I can not see/open the network drives via Bascom file explorer.

Does Bascom need special ports or something else regarding network access?

Info: OS is Windows 10 64 Bit, also we use Bascom Version 2080.

Edit:
Via Bascom file explorer I can not see the network drives in the list, but I can access them via manual entry \\xxx\yyy in the address bar.
So that means access is possible but the drive map is not shown.

can you show some screen shots?
Or otherwise send it to support.
The file open should show network places and driver.
I checked on W10 and i can open files from a network location.

Did you mapped the drive with a letter?

in windows 10 there seems to be a difference between running in user and admin mode. under admin mode network drives are hidden.

Hello Mark,
yes the problem was the admin mode.
I'm no longer sure why I set the admin mode.
I'm, starting Bascom now in the normal mode and will see what happens.
Thanks a lot for the quick help.

admin mode is only needed first time you run bascom after installation.
after that you can use normal mode.
for updates you also need admin mode.
