I bought a programmer from a Polish company - Eltronics. Says it is fully compatible with the AVRISP from Atmel. [based on the LUFA project]
When I try to set up the programmer in BASCOM, this one is not listed so I use AVRISP. However, I BASCOM advises that this programmer is too old, and to use the myAVR Mk 2.

BUT... That programmer allows only a serial connection, the USB is grayed out. The AVRISP MK 2 as well as this Eltronics programmer both connect via USB.
As a result, I am not connecting to the programmer.

Can anyone help me get connected so I can run my XMEGA128A4U through its' paces?

(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.7.8 )

A quick Google search with data you provide returns nothing usable.

1. Are you shure that USB is not actually serial port?
2. Have you tried to choose STK500 native driver?
