Where are your parameters?
Do a search on AVRDUDE in this forum. A couple of years ago I have put the complete syntax of AVRDUDE in this forum.
Have fun

The DEMO is old but functional. It is the same software as was used for the release at that time.
There is no deliberate bug in that version. Some later versions have deliberate bugs when they detect a cracked/illegal copy.
The DEMO is old because uploading a new version generates a lot of traffic on the server. Last year we switched to a new server so we could do that, but now we are busy with a new version for customers. Customers always go first.
There will be a new DEMO this year but after customers got an update.
You make some wild accusations based on some comments from a forum?
If you do not apologize i will remove your account.
I wrote to help and provided an alternative method. When you refer to things i said you should quote them exactly, not with your own words and conclusions. _________________ Mark |

Quote: | Having said that I too got BASC-AVR.DLL missing error when I
loaded the demo onto a machine so I could edit some code last week |
when you install the demo from the MCS server, there will not be such a problem.
Only when you download files from other locations you could have problems.
If you can produce that error with files from the MCS server, let me know. _________________ Mark |

I downloaded from the mcselec.com site (I do not know anywhere else)
I will try tomorrow at work on the other computer
it has never had bascom on it
I will try the demo.
Northland
Ok I have made the blink hex and used xloader with the mega2560 and it works
Note change the .txt to .hex then use xloader to load it into the mega1280
the led on the board should start to blink 1 second on , 1 second off
If this works we have the gas on

when you run bascom from within WINRAR or WINZIP it will not work since these programs do not unpack the files. you must always unpack all the files first, then run the executable.
I cleaned up this topic. it should be about your code, not about the demo. _________________ Mark |
