Hi to all.
I am a registered user of Bascom AVR (2.0.7.8 ver. IDE 2.0.7.8.003) and i am developing a project that uses a 3 lines 16 chars 3V LCD with chipset DOG163V3 in pin mode.
After the directive about the used pins (with config lcdpin) i have added Config Lcd = 16x3 , Chipset = Dogm163v3 according the example in the your help but the simulator gives me only a standard 2 lines LCD and all the output directed to the third line (locate 3,1) is not displayed.
- Is this correct?
- Exists a method to solve without temporarly substitute the line 3 with line 2?
- If not, is planned a solution at soon for better support to this type of displays?

Many thanks in advance
Pier

Solved through the Italian AVR forum of Deluca.
Just use the directive 16 * 4 (not clear in the help)!
