Yes and No.

There are a couple of issues with the present version's support for the E5 series.

Fortunately, the issues that have been identified and sent to support have been fixed for the NEXT version of Bascom.

I do not know when that is slated to be released.

I just starting to use the AVR card Xplained from atmel with XAMEGA32E5 + AVRISP MkII
I load studio 6.2 (arghhh Twisted Evil )
I had some trouble.. and I....read the help of Bascom

Maybe the Zip file can help you : it is in french but with a lot of pictures.
and now it works
