Aslo I must to close and again start Bascom if I want to open file (then bascom open last time opened folder) in some xy folder . "File open" won't to navigate to the last time opened bascom file, like in win98 or win 7...

I see the pinout is missing. I will have it added.
To Control File Open behavior use the Options, Environment, IDE, File Location.
Leave the location blank so windows will use the last used position (it is a windows feature which might have changed in windows . If you enter a location , the specified location will be used. _________________ Mark |

Hello Flash
You need to run bascom as administrator so you have to change the permission settings so that it asks you each time you start bascom if its ok to run it and it shows the shield for the administrator.
I am running it with windows 8, you will find other problems as well due to the security system.
I also find the compiler will not start the first time I invoke it I will be interested if you find the same.
Note I have 2 HP Pavilions win 8 that I run it on both have the same problems

Thanks Albert,
but it works only for the first time when Bascom is started, then it for the whole time when Bascom is opened always open file which is last opened before the last closing of the Bascom
Hi Paulvk,
I run Bascom as an administrator, and still the same thing...
"I also find the compiler will not start the first time I invoke it I will be interested if you find the same"
I don't have this type of problem (maybe it was happened on win8, i'm not for sure), maybe that you try to use compatibility mode for win7? I use it, it's the best mode for me on win8.1 ....
