that site is not for bascom-avr. that site shows a new product (not available yet) similar to bascom-avr. the only purpose of that site is to inform users about upcoming features so they do not need to ask for those.
many of the features of basavr are included in bascom-avr or will be included. _________________ Mark
Well I read the description of BASAVR, But I dont understand what its supposed to be?
The current IDE is fine, why do we need a new one? and for what purpose? I dont get it. Is it due to supporting newer processors such as AVR32/ARM? or what...
everybody has different wishes and i can not implement them all so i started long time ago with a rewrite which is project based. If i change something in bascom-avr there will be users complaining. And others will like it.
So i found it better to make something new where i can make changes because it is a new product. And of course it would be stupid not to use this as a basis for other processor families as well.
But i do not discuss products you can not buy yet. And i think certain AVR chips will last for a long time so we keep extending and supporting bascom-avr. Simple code folding will be added to bascom-avr as well. _________________ Mark
