Just downloaded the demo version of bascom to try programming the silabs analog c8051f350 MCU that I 've gotten from ebay at unbelievable low price! These are almost for free! but there is no .dat file! would anyone care to help me of how to construct a .dat file? or maybe share that file?

Perhaps you can have a look at the .DAT file I made for the W7100.

You might get some tips about bit and byte addressing.

Do a search for W7100 on my homepage.

Pick as a starting point a .DAT file that is close to your processor.

Have fun

I just took l look at your w7100. Thanks! 0,8 is a bit, rest byte but what is the number after the comma in the .dat file? Is it for the emulator so I can leave it blank?

There are two values for each line. I can tell the first one is location of the SFR. I am talking about the second value.

The first is indeed the SFR, and after that the value that is stored in the SFR.

I see, so for example I do not have to disable in WDT as you have said, in other posts, If I set it in the .dat file?

Just try it. You can also check the SFR bij reading it's value at the start of your program.
