Hi Niclas
My compliments for the nice lib you made.
It took me only an hour to get started with a dirlist etc. However, writing files drove me almost crazy.... the example worked, but when I tried to create a filename something went awfully wrong. A disk-editor showed contents had been written, but Windows did not see it. Also the last file kept disappearing..... although the directory structure grew (with deleted files).

Until I realized that the extension my program generated was in lowercase. So, this posting is to save other people some time. Using short 8.3 filenames requires all UPPERCASE! It seems windows goes haywire when it encounters lowercase in short file names.

Hi Michael,

Sorry for my late reply and thanks for the compliment. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the input. I thought that the problem you describe is due to the following, but maybe there is more to it than I knew:

"Please note that Windows buffers the file system, so if you eject the card and save new data on the card, you might have to reboot the PC. Otherwise it might corrupt the card. As far as I know, this has nothing to do with my particular library."

Best regards

Niclas
