Guys,

This is a very nice Ionic Colloidal Silver generator, with some nice features built into it. I will write a manual for it a bit later.
If it not objected to, I will post the link for my site that is hosting the files for it and some of the specifics on it along with a listing of
some of the features it has.

Have fun with it, and enjoy your good health!

Robert

'This is one of the best Ionic colloidal silver generators to ever be made,
'it is now being released by me, for your own private use. You are not allowed to build and sell these units,
'you may however help your friends to build theirs and charge a small fee for the labor.
'In other words I don't want you to profit from my hard work.

'If You Use This Code or any part there of, YOU ARE IN AGREEMENT That You Will Not Use This Information
'For Profit Or Use It In A Commercial Way What So Ever.

'Robert

PS.
I forgot to mention, the fuse setting for the div/clk must be disabled in the ATMEGA8 to get it to run the full 8 mhz.

Also here is a link for additional info on it: http://www.silverfolk.com/SilverProAdvanced.html

All info can now be downloaded in the zip file. This includes source code, schematics, board art too along with pictures of the project.

Note, the boards were done on my cnc router, bottom side then the top sides. as such would not be suitable for sending to the fabrication shop.
Give me a day or two, I'll correct that and re upload a new zip file that will contain the artwork for boards that are fab shop ready to go...

One additional note: If you should happen to have access to a cnc router, there is a folder in the zip file that has all of the cnc "G" code for the entire project.

The Silver Pro user manual has now been added to the zip file. It is in .odt and .doc format.

hi Robert

thank you for sharing your project. It looks like a great job. The casing is perfect.
Now i had no idea what an Ionic Colloidal Silver generator was, so i had to bing it. At first i thought it was something to get rich by getting solver out of water Smile
But as i knew silver is used for ages for health purposes, i understood what it did after some reading : by using silver electrodes you add nano? particles to the water using your generator. And drinking this water is an alternative for anti biotics. Please correct me if i am wrong.
I think in the old times they stored water in silver cans as the silver of the can would already kill bacterias.
I think some short instructions would be good to prevent problems. Like : which electrodes to use (where to get the right silver). And how long it takes to silver ionize 1 L water.

Robert,

For what this generator is used ?

I never see something like this , if its is used for health purposes I wish to understand.

Thanks for posting !

You guys are correct,

A brief explanation would be helpful. I tried to type it in here, but it was just to long. So I have attached a small intro written as plain text to this post.

It's no manual though, just very brief description of what it's about.

I would suggest one do some serious reading on ionic colloidal silver to get up to speed on it.

If I may make a suggestion, look up Dr. Robert Beck and also Bob beck (not related) and start reading from there.
There is also a lot of dis-info out there too, big pharma does not like this stuff to much here in the USA.
They have tried very hard to get rid of this stuff and are still trying.

After a bit of research, you will discover the truth about this stuff and learn to put it to very good use.

In China, they call it The Water Of The Gods. They never knew what this stuff was, now they can't get enough of it!

I will work on writing a manual for this Silver Pro Ionic Colloidal Silver Generator and I still need to correct some artwork on the boards.

Until then read up on it all that you can, you won't be disappointed Smile

Robert

Hello Robert,

A nice project and use. I like Mark, had to read up a bit about the history & use of such a product and resulting solution.
May I suggest if you want to protect your intellectual property(IP), that you do not release the pcb gerber fab data, only offer pre-manufactured pcb's &/or finished assemblies. This does not prevent someone from duplicating your design, but at least it does not make it so easy to do. I understand that you yourself use a cnc to create a pcb, for your reasons of not using chemicals to etch the copper but you will not be able to have this control anymore, if you release the pcb fab files.
Also, it is honourable to release the source code as well, but doing so will also not protect your IP rights either. The only reason I can see you releasing the source code, is for educational purposes and the possibility of other's to contribute/enhance your code. If you want to protect your software IP, then I suggest to only release the hex file or not at all if you offer a finished assembly.
I hope this note at least gives you some perspective as far as preserving your IP and hard work.

Oop's little late, now that I see you have released the data, so the cat is out of the bag as they say.
I have reviewed your pcb fab data. Looks as if it was generated by a program that reads in the gerber/drill data then generates cnc codes to drive the specific cnc milling machine. So it is of no use for anyone that does not have a cnc milling machine, which is almost everyone, including me. It is of no use for someone to ask a pcb mfg to make them a pcb, from what I can tell, based on the data you provided. Thus the usefulness is of limited value and you have preserved your IP in this format.

Further investigation shows that you have gerber data buried in the archive, but I won't give out any hints as to what to do with it. Thus will leave that up to you to inform the masses.

Cheers

Robert,

Thanks for your info. This is very, very interesting product, and I'm with Rick Savas, you must protect this from be copied.

Why you don't sell this product assembled ? I see you have the skills ! Your pictures shows a nice assembly.

Anyway, thanks for all information. I'm looking at the code to understand all the principle you used, only for my knowledge !

Hi guys,
I'm typing this on a iPad mini, so the keypad kind of sux. Anyways, I at first was going to try for a patent on this, but then realised I would be just as bad as the rest of the pack. (Hungry wolves) So I did not do this. I instead tried to
Perfect it a bit more, still needs a bit of tweaking to finish it. Then I tested it for a very long time. It now works very well, almost to well. So, I have decided to release it to the public, after seeing the ones you could purchase on the web and how high priced and no features, I'm almost certian that I took the correct step foward.

As far as protecting the design, I'm not trying to do that. Just trying to stop a commercial place from running off with it. I'm more than sure that this could give them some cramps in there style, especially at the right price.

But releasing it for free really kicks them in the balls! Lol

I think that releasing it here among knowledgable people, people that can understand and really build it is a big step
Forward. That is why I put the source code for it in the zip file.

People from all over the world gather here, so it's going to get some exposure! I'm hoping this can help drive thier
Prices down. It's such a shame to see the price gouging that is going on now. With what this stuff can do, none should need to pay out the nose to get it, it should be free, hense the release.

Robert

Another option is to create a wiki AN for it. It would be great to know where to buy the silver and where to buy the case you used.
Thanks for all info!

Not trying to burst your bubble or anything but... I wonder how safe it is to use silver...

Quote:
Adverse effects[edit]

Main article: Argyria
In animals and humans, silver accumulates in the body.[9]:121 Chronic intake of silver products can result in an accumulation of silver or silver sulfide particles in the skin. These particles in the skin darken with exposure to sunlight, resulting in a blue or gray discoloration of the skin known as argyria.[7] Localized argyria can occur as a result of topical use of silver-containing solutions, while generalized argyria results from the ingestion of such substances.[36]
Argyria is generally irreversible, with the only practical method of minimizing its cosmetic disfigurement being to avoid the sun.[37] Preliminary reports of treatment with laser therapy have been reported. These laser treatments are painful and general anesthesia is required.[38][39] A similar laser treatment has been used to clear silver particles from the eye, a condition related to argyria called argyrosis.[40] The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) describes argyria as a "cosmetic problem".[41]
While argyria is usually limited to skin discoloration, there are isolated reports of more serious neurologic, renal, or hepatic complications caused by ingesting colloidal silver.[36][42]
Colloidal silver may interact with some prescription medications, reducing the absorption of some antibiotics and thyroxine among others.[43]
Some people are allergic to silver, and the use of treatments and medical devices containing silver is contraindicated for such people.[7] Although medical devices containing silver are widely used in hospitals, no thorough testing and standardization of these products has yet been undertaken.

Not busting my bubble at all,

Argyria is the exact condition that you have stated, this could happen with particles of silver the are big enough to become trapped in the skin.

This is not silver particles, this is silver Ions with a positive charge. Your blood cells are on average of 6 to 8 microns in size, they do not get stuck in your skin. These ions are nano meters in size. on average of
0.23 nano meters, that's very small in size.

There was a famous case of the blue man that drank gallons of this stuff and turned blue !
After a bit of research, you would discover that he did not drink this stuff, he in fact mixed salt with his
solution.

Also rubbed it on his skin and used tanning beds!

Look at it this way. if the worst case scenario is that it turned you blue after drinking gallons of it, that's not to bad.

Try taking a gallon of aspirin and see if you live ! hell just the antibiotics they have now that could kill a virus have a 50% chance of killing the host ! And if it did not kill you then, you would die from the liver damage later.

This stuff kills both the bacteria and virus and no adverse affects! is completely safe, less you are allergic to silver.

There a millions using this stuff, none have turned blue that I know of, and you would know pretty fast, as the Media would run with it pretty fast, hey look what colloidal silver did to this man! But I don't see them reporting on all the people the medicine kills every year alone. They kill more people just by medicine in one year than drunk driving and all of the wars ever fought combined killed.

Go check out a Report called " Death By medicine " written by a doctor of course, if that don't make you swear off the medical industry, nothing will...
http://www4.dr-rath-foundation.org/features/death_by_medicine.html

So I guess you could say, pick you poison. I'll pic my stuff over theirs any day of the week!

And that's why I never go to the doctor. I don't take any kind of medicine, yet I haven't been sick since I stop smoking and drinking. See any connection here?

So my life is pretty dull now, but at least I'm healthy, right? Laughing

I'll investigate this a little more when I have time or ask my wife's cousin that is totally into this homeopathic treatments to verify it.

Regards,
Thanos

Interesting discussion none the less.
This stuff any good for eczema? to replace betamethisone cream

Looked over the code, well written, something to learn from it.

Hi there,

I have never had eczema, nor do I know anybody that has it.

I did a quick search on Google for "Colloidal silver and eczema" Turned up some pretty promising results.
