|
|
Hello all,
So far as I remember, I saw something like "Bascom AVR supported device" on the main page, or on the compiler description/details page. Probably it was like Bascom AVR supports all ATMega and XMega devices. Am I thinking wrong, or can someone point me to the link where it says about the devices?
I am asking this because someone interested in Bascom AVR, may want to know about the devices supported by the compiler. So, it should be mentioned on the compiler description page.
Thanks. |

When you have the latest version all the devices can be found under - Tools - Compiler - Chip - Chip
In the worst case the demo version can be downloaded to see the supported devices.

there is the Chips pinout list in the help. this is updated each release when new dat files are added.
our official statement : all avr chips with internal SRAM and 32 registers are or will be supported.
Why does the bascom-avr page not contains a list with chips? Because we add new dat files all the time (see register bug/enhancements). and since there are different variants of bascom you can buy, it is simply too much work to update these pages every time we add a new dat file.
Since the product pages are a bit outdated ( i will have them refreshed with a list and the previous remarks). _________________ Mark |

Yes, I understand it is practically difficult to update the page after every device released by Atmel.
Thank you and best regards. |
