I hope this means you are working on an OBD2 library, ODB has huge interest only have to look at the blog section to see the large number of views, of course it would only come with the full version I think it would raise your sales of bascom considerably.

Hello Mark
I could not source a plug but purchased a cable as above.
Then a SN65HVD230-32 TRANSCEIVER from DigiKey.
I have not progressed far, the compiler does not like the CANIT interrupt for the at32M1. I shall poll the registers to get it going for a start. |

i ordered 2 plugs. one from china and one from the US. now i need to wait.
for the canint you need to use : CAN_INT
I changed it because canint was a constant used by atmel.
it is visible in the dat file (look at the [INTLIST] section. _________________ Mark |

Tapping into my cars CAN was an old idea/wish. When Elektor asked me to write an article i spend some time diving into it. I then wrote the CAN lib based on the atmel chips with CAN interface.
Since Elektor made a good board for it, i decided to use the CAN32 chip. So the sample is for that board/chip. But it should work for other chips as well.
There is no special lib required for talking to the car CAN bus. But you need info about the id's to send and what to expect. Some info differs from car to car
the code i showed before is all you need : a MOB for sending and a MOB for receiving. if i get my connector i will make a sample.
or maybe someone beats me to it _________________ Mark |
