Hi all,
I've got a new PC, running Win11.
I can't get my old, beloved AVRISP mkII to work.
AVR Studio 4.19 and Jungo driver is installed.
At that point, the Programmer should have the Jungo-Driver.
But after connecting the programmer, it appears under "other devices".
How do I assign the programmer to the Jungo-driver (or vice versa).
Thanks for a hint
Marc

that is a very old version(avr studio) . W11 probably does not support it. you best install a newer driver (avr studio) to get the device working.
atmel has some link for downloading only the drivers. jungo will use the isp driver automatically.
after the isp driver works, you need to install libusb in order to get it supported in bascom. this is explained in the help.
but before bascom can use the device, it need to work with the driver from the manufacturer.

Hi Mark,
works now, thank you!
For any reason I was shure, that only the old AVR-Studio 4 would work.

For those interested here's what I did:

Installed AVR-Studio 7.0.xxxx
Pluged in AVRISP mkII programmer.
It appeared here (not in the Jungo section):

Next I installed libusb-win32-devel-filter-1.2.7.3.exe. The programmer was listet, to my surprise.
In BASCOM, it works fine.
There is one step in the Bscom-help "in Studio, you need to connetct the programmer". In Studio-7, I could not find the "connect" option, and it is obsolete obviously.
For I never use ATMEL-Studio, I deinstalled it (Mark mentioned, there are ways to download and install only the driver, without studio, but I could not find that).
