Hello All!

I've just looked into Microchip www and I can see that, they release new family: EA. Link
It looks like it has much better ADC (sampling rate, accumulation).

It's just for info - for me, DB series is still the best one Very Happy

Regards,
Przemek

For me this is new: set a Chopping bit in ADC to reduce offset.

31.5.10 Control F
Name: CTRLF
Offset: 0x09
Reset: 0x00
Property: -
Bit 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0
CHOPPING FREERUN LEFTADJ SAMPNUM[3:0]
Access R/W R/W R/W R/W R/W R/W R/W
Reset 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Bit 6 – CHOPPING Sign Chopping
This bit controls whether sign chopping is enabled to reduce the offset.
Single mode does not support sign chopping.
Value Name Description
0 DISABLE Sign chopping is disabled
1 ENABLE Sign chopping is enabled

Mark,
EA and EB were send to you Very Happy

olhexy,
Correct. In my opinion it looks like these series are targeting mainly into industrial application like PLC etc.
