Ok... I have it working as the M128.
Sorry, I'm still on tubes era...
Loader size required: 4095 = 0xFFF
M64 flash size: 0x7FFF
M128/M1281 flash size: 0xFFFF
M256/2560 flash size: 0x1FFFF
Then, calculated bootloader start:
M64: 0x7FFF - 0xFFF = 0x7000
M128/M1281: 0xFFFF - 0xFFF = 0xF000
M256/2560: 0x1FFFF - 0xFFF = 0x1F000

I am using a modified version of Josef's bootloader; I want to update the bootloader itself from an SD card.
I cant decide if this is possible or not, and if so, where to start.
(the reason for this is i want to post an SD card to a user many many hundreds of miles away, to update the bootloader)

DOS_Boot2.bas works (according to serial port output) as far as loading the boot.hex into flash and renaming the file, but the flash program doesn't run - just keeps rebooting into the bootloader.
Please help!
Thanks! |
