Hallo !
I use:
Bascom 1.11.8.2
if i input a crystal with 16mhz, the sampe WEBSERVER dos not work.
Only Ping and serial DEBUG is ok. ( I have set the $crystal to 16 mhz in the compiler)
It works with 4mhz and 8Mhz(RC-Oszill.) very good.
Where are the limits for the board bzw is it a compiler-Proplem ???
Thanks for answering ! |

Hi,
The WizNet module resides in the external memory space.
If the module is slower than the busspeed it will not work.
Go To "options - compiler - chip" and check "XRAM waitstate".
Maybe that will help.

The waitstate function in Bascom is all or nothing.
Most AVR's have four different settings but you must set the bits yourself.
Look for the registerbits named SRW, play with them and maybe your system runs a little faster.
No waitstates isn't working you allready know that, and max waitstates works.
But there are two delays between them.
