hi!
several years ago, I taught at a children's educational center. We studied the basics of electronics and programming.
Today I found an old archive with our robot cart design Laughing
It has a keyboard and display.
The user selects the direction, presses this button as many times as the number of seconds to travel in the selected direction. You can also give an audio signal and turn on the headlights of the cart.
The code is written using Russian words. If someone wants to repeat the design, I will translate all the inscriptions into English.
The circuit board was made at home using an iron or photoresist.

I did not find the circuit. But everything is simple there.

The PCB (.dip) is developed in the program DipTrace. I can also export this project to gerber or pdf.

looks nice for sure.

it reminds me to a toy my dad gave us very long time ago. it looked similar (but with a case) and it has a photo cell. using a flash light you could control where it needed to drive by pointing the light.
this was before IR and ultrasone remote when all TV where B&W Very Happy
