Hello list!
This is my first post, and I want to tell you where I have ordered about 500 PCB boards in varius quality (with or without silkscreen etc.)
www.expresspcb.com
I've been using there service for about 5 years now, and they have gone from being good to be better!
Price is fair, delivery time is excelent, I live in Sweden, and from order to delivery is usaly shorter than 5 working days.
Give it a try! _________________ Kent Andersson |

I've found the ExpressPCB tools excellent for quickly throwing together a pcb and/or schematic. However, i've found them to be quite expensive compared to most other generic pcb manufacturers out there. It kinda balances out if you do order a large qty, such as 500, from my experience. |

Great for the prototypes! I wish their product could use netlists from my schematic capture program but it doesn't. They have their own which works OK but I have to draw the schematic twice for work related projects. Also, they use a proprietary method of delivering files to them so you don't end up with gerbers when you are ready for production. Regardless, it is great for making one-off test equipment for the lab, prototypes etc. I still use it often because it is very quick and easy.
They recently added filled planes for two sided boards. It works quite well. You just click on pads to make thermal or solid connections to the top or bottom plane. They have four layer boards too but they are pretty expensive so the filled planes are a nice cost saving feature for GND / VCC.
Now, if they would just let me draw my schematics in my Orcad Capture editor it would be great! |

I find this interesting. Saqmaster, I've seen other people say that other programs are cheaper, like generic manufacturers, but what program one use with the others. _________________ Thanks, Don |

Another happy ExpressPCB.com customer.
the software you download for free on their website.
simple but powerful.
The only sad part is about importing or exporting to Gerber or other formats, it only stays in their own proprietary format.
I am doing everything from automated test fixtures to designing an arcade pinball machine using their boards.
so chalk me up as another happy customer of theirs. _________________ For this is the place
