I do not yet have an immediate need for that support, so this is a curiosity question at this stage. But this chip is definitely on my radar. (And, from what I have read, the 4809 will be used in the next generation Arduino UNO series - so I imagine it will not be too long before there is a more widespread appetite for BASCOM to support that chip.)
Are there any plans to provide a DAT file to support the 3209 and/or 4809?
Cheers,
Brant
(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.7.8 , Latest : 2.0.8.1 )
you use 2078 and the list you review is from 2081.
we do not give release dates or details about future versions. All i can say is that we will support (sooner or later) all AVR with SRAM and not the crippled ones with 16 registers or just 32 registers.
Microchip mixed the xmega and tiny and mega into new chips. It is not simple a matter of a new DAT file. It requires LIB and compiler changes as well.
When you have questions about future chips ask support. _________________ Mark
