Hi JP,
Thanks.
Yes, either a 6 to 10 converter or use the 6pin header on the Kanda board - there are both 6 pin and 10 pin headers on the (newer ?) Kanda boards.

Thanks to all. Really appreciated. I'm going to find a new programmer !!

Hi JP - Indeed. My older STK300 has ONLY the 10 pin connector.
Thanks again.

Another (related) question :
I'm looking for a real simple (read; quick and dirty) way to test some ideas on an ATTiny 85. I could use the STK but... I found the following on Amazon. Have you any thoughts as to whether this would connect / be seen by Bascom please ?

Naturally, I can just try it (and update here of course) - just a curosity while I finish off an existing project. Thought I may buy a few.

Digispark Rev. 3 Kickstarter avec USB pour Arduino, une carte de développement compatible à 100% avec ATtiny85 (3x Digispark)

https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B076KVKHH1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thanks.
Regards.

Hi JP,
Thanks for that.
Yeah, I do have an 8 pin socket on the STK200 for the ATtinys... BUT... the AVR programmer (that came with it) doesn't communicate with Bascom which makes life a little more difficult, hence my question re: other programmers and my purchasing a 'MySmartUSB Light'.

Breadboard is OK but...

I needed to get some ATtiny 85 units and found Amazon the most fast / cheap as long as I bought them on the 'USB stick', hence my question regarding DigiSpark units. Just wondered whether anyone knew if Bascom would recognise them ? I'll find out Smile

I'll probably just stick with the STK200 and switch to the 'MySmartUSB Light', when it arrives, to replace the unsupported Kanda USB programmer.

I'll keep this thread updated.

Again, thanks a million.
Regards.
