New forum rule about posts - Please read !

Starting from August 1, the MCS Electronics forum is for licensed BASCOM users only. This means that you can only post messages if you have a registered version.

For non interrupted access all users must perform one simple action:

https://register.mcselec.com

Now your forum account is linked to your register/update account.

Why this change? The last years we see an increase in piracy : there are many users with a cracked version. These people abuse our software but also the forum and server resources.

Since August 1 there are some changes on the forum.

You need to link your forum account to your register account. This ensures that only licensed BASCOM users can post messages.

Why this change? We noticed that there are a lot of users with a cracked/illegal version. Most of these users live in countries where people seems to think that stealing is allowed. While we could IP block those countries, there are also a handful users with a licensed version. We do not like to cripple our software with dongles or other copy theft protection. So our solution is to make sure that only licensed users can access the forum. At support we always ask for a serial, and now you need to have a valid serial when posting too.

If you do not link your forum and register account, you will see the screen below.

Just visit : https://register.mcselec.com and login to your account

When you login you see the screen below

You enter your register user name and pwd. If you do not have an account yet, you can create it. See also the BASCOM-AVR help ‘Updates’

After login you should see this screen, click on Forum Access icon

If you see this short version of page, your account is pending and waiting for checking of your licenses and user data.
This process can take some days, depending on the serial number.

Do note that you need to register within 2 years after purchase.

After a click on Forum Access you should see this page. Read info on that page, enter your forum username and click on Submit

If your username is correct you should see this info page after submitting. Now you can post on forum.

If you enter wrong username you get page like this, check your username and retype it again.
DON’T try to abuse this by entering username what is not yours ! You are not able to change this username without asking support and we can track this abuse easily.

If you see this error and you are sure about entered username please contact our support.

And remember :
- We do not give info about new unreleased products or release dates.
- Wishes can be send to support. Some can be implemented for a fee.
- Always use the latest version. Otherwise the post will be moved to unsupported version forum
- Include code , a small sample that can be tested
