Hello all,
there is a new BASCOM-forum in Germany: www.bascomforum.de
This new German forum was founded by a couple of moderators who were not happy with the old forum which had crashed in October 2016 and could not be restored because there was no proper backup.
The new forum is run by a team of very responsive and friendly people who did not want to spend their free time in "crashing projects" - so they decided to go this way with Mark Alberts.
Mark is supporting the new forum very well. The forum is hosted on the same RAID-protected machines as the mcs servers and backup copies of the forum are taken daily.
So .. the new board offers what you are looking for: Reliable infrastructure and well-skilled and friendly German speaking people.
If you want to talk about Bascom related questions in German language you can visit the new official German forum for BASCOM-AVR on: www.bascomforum.de
We are looking forward to meet you on bascomforum.de
Wir freuen uns auf Eure BASCOM-Projekte, -Fragen und -Diskussionen!
Euer bascomforum.de Team
(BASCOM-AVR version : 2.0.7.8 ) |

Hi StefanHamburg,
Sorry to hear about the loss of the old German Forum.
I know that many valuable information was lost, I had seen many advanced projects, and learn a lot reading the posts ( even with a translator... ).
Wish the best to you and the others moderators.

Indeed a pity that all that information, code, hints etc is gone.
It's not always that easy to backup up everything 100% save.
In April 1 out of 3 disk in my raid 5 nas broke down, no problem replace the disk and the raid will be rebuild. However during rebuild an other disk failed also. Bye Bye all data
Luckily I had also a weekly backup from the nas at work so the data can be restored and only a couple days was gone, but it gave me all a lot of headache.
Enough chit-chat, glad that there's German Bascom forum. _________________ www.evertdekker.com Bascom code vault |

It is great that the cream of the crop started this new German forum.
They dedicate their time to help other users in their native language.
A good start of 2017.
Viel Spaß _________________ Mark |
