it seems you need a new keyboard, the CAPS key got stuck.
this chip is already supported. this chip is just the M328 but preprogrammed with a bootloader.
M328P is supported and best of all, you can put in your own bootloader which will cost less. _________________ Mark |

HI
Yes the chip GOT BIG differences of the M328 in some way
Here the détails
More Fast Timers
Two 8bit Timer/Counter with independent prescaler
One 16bit Timer/Counter with independent prescaler
64MHz internal frequency for fast and high resolution PWM
Up to 6 channels PWM with dead band support
More accuracy analog modules
8-channel 12bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC)
Internal independent power monitor channel (VCC/4 )
Internal High resolution 1.25V/2.56V ±1% voltage reference
2x Analog comparator with 2x 8bit DAC for internal reference
2x Fixed-gain, dual direction OPA frontend for ADC/AC
2-channel 8bit DAC output
More other improvements
High resolution internal 16MHz ±1% RC oscillator
Low power 32KHz RC oscillator
Low power POR and 3-level Low voltage detector
More efficiency active and sleep power control
Digital Peripherals
SWD Two-wire On Chip Debug & Programming Interface
Programmable Watch dog timer
Async/Sync Universal Receiver/Transmitter (USART)
Master/Slave SPI Interface
Master/Slave Two-wire Interface (TWI), compatible with I2C
More Robust Working Environment
0~20MHz @ 1.8V ~ 5.5V
-40C ~ +85C
4000V HBM ESD
More useful analog modules
Internal voltage reference for ADC and source of DAC
8bit DAC output to one channel of Analog comparator
Each OPA support up to 2 external input channels
OPA support x12 gain in normal mode and x11 in input-inverting mode
OPA output can be sampled by ADC
Analog comparator support flexible filter backend
Comparator output can be used to disable PWM output automatically
AC combined with OPA can be used to implement flexible over-current and over-voltage circuits
More fast timer and PWM
Internal frequency double generate 64MHz clock for fast timer application
Up to 500KHz@7bit high resolution PWM
Dead cycle inserted to protect external MOSFET driver
PWM can be disabled automatically by analog comparator or other sources
Up to 6 channel PWM output
Up to 4 channel support fast PWM and dead cycle insertion
IF you are interrested in this chip i can send you the link of the manufacturer
thank you |

Wow....
This chip give all this new goods, and maintain all the original Atmega328 specs ?
I liked all this new analog specs, seems very interesting.
I'll buy some chips today.
Update - I try to find the complete datasheet, but can't find nothing about internal specs. I suspect that this chip is hardware compatible to use in Arduíno, but the internal ASM is not compatible.
Mark, are you sure about BASCOM support this MD328-D IC ?

Searching I find this is not an Atmel chip at all it is an Intel chip MD-8088 emulating an M328 so it may work if you use as a mega328

Paul,
Where you find this information ? All I search about "MD-8088" leaves me to the old Intel 8088 Cpu, that can't emulate all the hardware inside one Atmega328 even if the Bill Gates wrote the code by herself !

HELLO
i have bougth some md328D NANO BOARD
I have asked the full datasheet to manufacturer today , i hope to see the answer soon
if Mark need one board for experiment i can ship one
for the md8088 it is another chip not compliant with M328
that all for the moment . |

Benoit,
I bought two boards and two chips, but until I put my hands in this will pass more than 60 days ( Brasil ...... ) !
I sent a message to the manufacturer too, asking for the complete datasheet for the chip, but until now don't receive any answer.
Will be very nice if Bascom can support it.

HELLO
ANSWER FROM THE MANUFACTURER
I am sorry we only have Chinese version of datasheet , if you need I can sent you to.
We suggestion user to use this board under Arduino IDE and we only provide support on Arduino programming , thanks!
I will try to get this chinese data sheet .it is better than nothing |

i would not recommend such a chip for production.
- there is no datasheet avaialble from the site that explains all the registers
- it is unclear how long this product last
but for hobby purpose there is nothing wrong it. without an english datasheet or proper manufacturer support there is however no way i will spend time on this. _________________ Mark |

HEY mark
I got the data sheet . it is in chinese . lol
the asm memonics are the same than m328 and the chip look like very similar to m328 ,most name of register too
if you interested in may be i can post the pdf
do you allow me to post the pdf on the forum or other
thank you
i will try to see if i can have the pdf translated
thank you for your time |

feel free to post here. if it is usable and there is sufficient demand i can have a look at supporting it. _________________ Mark |
