Hi all,
This is a working sample using the Lora SX1272 modules from Semtech. I’ve used Dorji DRF1272F modules at 868MHz and 900MHz.
There are a lot of info regarding Lora on the net, so go there for info.
Code is crude and not fully debugged, but working.
Tested to work with one module inside my house as TX and the RX with LCD into the woods 500 meter away.
This was on the lowest datarate and +17dbm.
Antennas used was 8 cm magnet wire whip.
I've ordered some more for 433MHz to test on and expect them to go even further.

Thanks for sharing. Very nice.

Have done some testing with the RN2483 on 868 Mhz. A very small pitch to solder.
Found some break-out boards.

Got some testresults.

Have fun

Hi Anders,

thanks very much for the code.
I do have a couple of spare boards with RFM95, ATmega328 and FT232 USB from a student project
with documented and working C code, but would be interested in a BASCOM solution.
Do you probably have experience with the RFM95?
I will try your code with these boards (if you are interested I can send you a board).

With best regards

Chris

Hi,
I recently ordered a pair of RFM95 to test, but afaik it's the same series as RFM98 witch should be the same chip type as SX1278.
The code attached is working for SX1278, and should be usable for the RFM95 (just edit the frequency)
I'll share my test when the RFM95's arrive.

Hi Anders
Can you ask for the wiring diagram?
Is the connection from SX1278 to ATmega328 only 5 pin?
Only GND, 3.3V, MOSI, DIO1 and DIO5 ?
Can I ask for the wiring diagram?
Thanks

Hi Anders,

Do you have a schematic on how you wired up the module to the controller?
This might help us out, as I\'m planning on using these modules on a Mega32

Thanks,

Luc

Hi Anders
I used your code for chip SX1278 for module LORA RA-02. But the reciever receives only one character.
Is it a problem with the program or module RA-02?
